Personality
Development Skills
The students are
induced with need to lead from
front through various projects
and activities that kindle and
nurture their skills of prioritizing,
positive attitude, team spirit,
self esteem, decision making,
handling change, responding to
mishaps, risk management etc.
These practical skills are honed
during training and projects.
The effort is to nourish an enterprising
and logical approach towards
any given situation.
Vocational
Skills
Expert instructors provide
hands-on training in the
field of carpentry, horticulture,
designing, stage decoration,
handling electrical equipment,
interviewing skills, photography,
video shooting, script editing,
newspaper lay out, article
editing, reporting etc. This
training inculcates dignity
of work and makes students
more capable and resourceful
in handling any situation
in life.
Responding to the
growing dependence on information
technology, we have established
a separate IT-training cell that
designs relevant curriculum to
meet the software and hardware
needs of the modern times. This
cell is constantly connected
to the world on net and provides
students a variety of e-activity
and referencing.

Institutional Training
w Field
Trips
The students
are kept in constant touch
with the real world and its
wonders by integrating field
trips to various organizations
of the city. These local field
trips provide students a hands-on
experience of interacting with
professionals and understanding
their functions and role in
the society. This interaction
also provides students with
information on career options
available to them.
w Workshops
A more
focused approach would be
interacting with outside
professionals and visiting
faculty in a workshop environment
and doing a project with
them. This helps students
experience a new vocation
first hand.
w Interschool
Activities
The student exchange through
interschool activities
and projects helps students
meet the peers and enrich
their world of experiences
and develop a desire and
confidence to lead. |
